CMC Presentation for Parent University

TITLE: "Peaceful Communication in Our Community"

A team of experienced mediators from the Community Mediation Center (CMC), along with trained student mediators from Bozeman schools share insight and demonstrate respectful conflict resolution techniques during an interactive evening.  An overview of Parker J. Palmer's Core Values provides an understanding of how student mediators apply these values to mediations with their own peers.  Parents and teachers will employ learned communication skills in role-play situations where respectful dialogue leads to conflict resolution.
