Lee Schulz, J.D.
After 32 years as owner/manager of a large regional food distribution company in Kentucky, Lee returned to school to earn his J.D. degree in 2002 from the University of Louisville. While there, he was named a Brandeis Scholar and received the Samuel L. Greenebaum Public Service Award. Lee has a wealth of experience in family business issues, human resources, insurance, financial and operational matters.
Lee devoted his law practice to mediation and Wills and Estate Planning. He has mediated more than 380 cases, dealing with family and divorce issues and child protection cases as well as workplace, civil, insurance, and contract disputes. In addition, Lee has taught or co-taught over 1100 hours as instructor for Civil Mediation, Family and Divorce Mediation, and Conflict Management Trainings. He and his wife moved to Bozeman in July of 2017 to be close to their daughter and her family. Lee has been certified as a Mediator with Additional Family Designation by the Montana Mediation Association and wants to continue to help folks find peaceful and constructive resolution to their disputes.
